William Rhoads, Ph.D.

Dr. William Rhoads conducts research that explores applied environmental microbiology and chemistry in building drinking water systems. In his current role at Eawag, he researches the growth and control of opportunistic pathogens in building plumbing systems. William earned his B.S. in civil engineering from Purdue University and his Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech where he was the recipient of the international 2017 CH2M/AEESP Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award.
